Plateaux, hillsides, plains and valleys, Saint-Emilion offers an amazing diversity of landscapes. These are great assets for the vineyards which also benefit from various soil types, orientations, elevations and organic environments. This allows Saint-Émilion to produce wines with multiple taste profiles. Magali & Thibaut Decoster vineyards tours cover a wide range of the main and reference terroirs of Saint-Émilion appellation in a unique route.

You start with the clay-limestone plateaux at the top of the Dordogne valley, then travel through the northwest of the village gravel terraces and end up discovering the famous south facing slope of the appellation along valleys and hills. You visit 3 different cellars, first one with wooden vats, the second with concrete vats and the third with stainless steel vats. In each of the 3 wineries of the tour we illustrate different key elements of winemaking from vineyards to bottles going through organic concerns. Then, you taste 3 wines including a Grand Cru Classé and finally end your sublime journey with a gastronomic meal at l'Atelier de Candale. Less than 2 hours for the most complete visit to the appellation followed by a meal illustrating your journey.
